Golden Jubilee Scholarship Objective: The main objective of the
scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students who belong to
economically weaker families and cannot afford higher studies so as to provide
them better opportunities for higher education.
LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scope: LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship is to be rewarded for studies in India in a government or private college/university.

It will also cover technical and vocational courses in
Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the
National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes at Graduation level.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates
must have class 2th / equivalent form any board
- Applying candidates must have 60% in 12th.
- The annual income of Parents’ must be below 1 lack.
- Applicants should be registered in Graduate/Diploma/ITI/Professional Course.
- The scholarship will not be given to more than one member of a family.
- Candidates need to secure more than 55% marks in professional streams and 50% marks in graduation Courses in Arts/Commerce/Science failing which the Fellowship scheme will be discontinued.

Some Conditions For Scholarship:
- Contenders who have secured more than 60% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination will get the benefit of this Scholarship. Aspirants parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed `1,00,000/- per annum.
- The assortment of aspirants will be done on the basis of merit and family background such as percentage of marks in class 12th /10th and annual income of the family.
- It is informed to Students whose family income lowest, will be provided the preference in the ascending order.
- In stream of professional, aspirants should secured more than 55% marks and 50% marks in graduation courses in Arts/Science/Commerce or equivalent grade in the previous final examination of the course for which scholarship is awarded.
- If the aspirant doesn’t follow this criterion then in such case scholarship will be discontinued.
- Applicants are informed that benefit of this program will be provided to the one student in a family.
- Candidates may be regular in attendance for which the yardstick shall be decided by the competent authority of the school/college/university.
- The certificate of Income must be on self-certification basis by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper for self-employed parents and from employer for employed parents supported by documents (from revenue department) such as land held in the name of parents.
- If a student violates any terms and conditions of the scholarship, the scholarship may be canceled.
- The scholarship program shall be evaluated at regular intervals by the LICGJF.
- Aspirants must check latest updates here as regulations can be changed at any time at the discretion of the Board of Trustees of LICGJF.
